Ms. Margaret Evenly Sandidge, 72, of Lynchburg, VA departed this life on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was born on September 16, 1950, to the late Percy Edward Sandidge and Rosezelia Christain Sandidge.

Margaret accepted Christ at an early age at New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Amherst, VA, and later became a member of Heart to Heart Ministries of Lynchburg, VA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Nicholas; sister, Deborah; brothers, Sonny, Raymond, Harold, and Mack Sandidge.

She is survived by her son, Christopher Turner; grandchildren, Jada Turner and Jaylen Turner of Madison Heights, VA; her sisters, Roxie Chambers of Largo, MD, Joyce Sandidge of Lewisdale, MD, Mae Sandidge of Lynchburg, VA, and Gloria Sandidge of Madison Heights, VA; brothers, Franklin (Joanna) Sandidge of Amherst, VA, Richard Sandidge, and Macon Sandidge of Lynchburg, VA; a host of other relatives and friends; devoted nieces, Carolyn Sandidge; and a beloved fur baby, Tabitha (dog).

Margaret was a dedicated Central Virginia Training Center employee where she worked for 30 years. Margaret loved and adored her family, going to family gatherings, church outings, and was a classy person when it came to fashion and decorating. She also loved to sing, and she had for fixing many things. She will truly be missed by her friends and family.

A homegoing celebration will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Heart to Heart Ministries. Interment will be in the New Jerusalem Baptist Church cemetery. Service of comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
