God sent his angels to receive Lula Jones McCormick on the evening of June 5,
2012. No more suffering, no more pain, her struggles are over. Saved by Grace and free from the cares of this world. Lula was a very loving and giving person. She Born February 23, 1944 to Easter Ann McCoy Jones and the late John Miller Jones, Sr. She confessed Christ as her Savior at an early age. She was married to Scott McCormick in 1964 and educated in Englewood, NJ where she received her high school diploma and later a degree for Senior Nursing. She then earned a degree in Cosmetology at Orchard School of Beauty in N.Y. Lula moved to Lynchburg, VA later in her life where she joined Christ Chapel of Lynchburg, VA. Lula Was preceded in death by two (2) brothers; John Miller Jones, Jr. and Angus Jones. Those left to cherish her memory; one daughter, Kelli McCormick (Sam) of Lynchburg, a loving mother, Easter Ann McCoy Jones of Amherst, (3) sisters, Shelly Fisher (Levy) of Englewood, N.J., Oglessa "Susie" Brown (Rubby) and Patricia Dickerson of Lynchburg, (1) brother, Andrew Jones (Joan) of Englewood, N.J., (2) grandchildren, Da'Ron and Da'Ronda McCormick and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held 1:30 PM Friday, June 29, 2012 at Christ
Chapel Church with Dr. C.B. Hutcherson, officiating. Condolences may be
