Louis H. Bailey, Jr.  of Richmond, VA reside in Lynchburg, Virginia passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021 after a long illness he was born January 12, 1932 to Louis H. Bailey, Sr. and Virginia Bailey.  Louis was preceded in death by two sons, Michael W. Jennings and Gary A. Bailey; one daughter, Cynthia Bailey; Larry Starks.

He attended Lynchburg public school and worked at the Lynchburg bowling alley and Lynchburg Memorial Hospital in the kitchen, and he excepted Christ at the age of nine years old at the White Rock Baptist.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Jean C. Bailey; two sons, Gregory E. Bailey, (Michelle Preston) Louis H. Bailey, III (Angela Joyner); two daughter, Deborah G. Stamps (Danny M.) and Lasandra Bailey Starks; 17 grandchildren and a multitude of great and great-great grandchildren, relatives and friends.
