Londell Henry Thompson departed this life on Wednesday, July 8, 2026. Londell attended Heritage High School, where he played football. He fell in love with football and became a Washington Commanders fan.

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Thompson, and his daughter, London Thompson. He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Reverend Garland Thompson and Dorothy Thompson, and his maternal grandparents, Thomas Robinson and Gracie Robinson.

He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Mary Thompson; his sister, Melissa Thompson; his two sons, Londell Thomson, Jr. and DeJuan Thompson. He had a special favorite cousin, Elizabeth Long, who was by his side until the very end. He also left two long-time best friends, Antonio Williams, Sr. and Dewayne Crews; one nephew, Antonio Williams, Jr. (Lil Dude), with whom he shared a special bond; and a host of family, friends, and loved ones.

A celebration of his life will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Davis-Turner Funeral Service. Service of comfort entrusted to Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
