Lois Lee Scott, passed away, Sunday Oct. 31, 2010 at her residence. She was born April 23, 1926 in Campbell County to Lizzie and Samuel Scott and she was the youngest of Five Siblings.

Lois was a member of Lawyer's Missionary Baptist Church, Lynchburg, Virginia where she joined the Ladies Club many years ago. She was preceded in death by her son, Grover Scott.

Mrs. Scott was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Grover C. Scott, and to their union was five children-two daughters, Juanita Payne (Lindburg) of Rustburg, Virginia, Lois Marie Poindexter (John) of Forest, Virginia and three sons, Richard Scott, Hayward Scott (Paulette) both of Rustburg, Virginia She also leaves to cherish her precious memories to twin boys, Travis Scott (Norma), Tracy Scott (Patrice); one sister, Bessie Ward, of Lynchburg; her devoted niece Linda Scott (Ken); eleven grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and nine Great-Great Grandchildren and host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday Nov. 4, 2010 at Crossroads Baptist Church with Rev. William Coleman, Pastor, officiating and Rev. Edward Jones, Sr., as eulogist. The interment will be in the Crossroads Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7-8:30 at the funeral home and other times at the home of Lois M. Poindexter.
