Obituary

Lillian M. Williams departed this life Sunday September the 7th 2014 with her loving family around her. She was born to the late Eleanor P. Johnson and William (Bill) Johnson.

Lillian accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior at a young age and joined Bethany Baptist Church. As an adult she helped organized Immanuel Christian Church and joined with her brother, Pastor Mack Johnson, Sr.

She was preceded in death her former husband, John C. Williams; her mother, Eleanor P. Johnson; her brother, Robert W. Johnson; two nephews, Aubrey D. Hughes and Mack H. Johnson, Jr.

Lillian Williams was the church mother at Immanuel Christian; she was industries, energetic and faithful in every area of church ministers, from preaching to sweeping. One of her favor song was "I believe I will testify while I have the chance".

Left to rejoice in the legacy of their mother are her children, Dorothy (Walter) Rhode, Debra (Eddie) Brogdon, John (Melinda) Williams, Eric (Tonya) Williams; she also leaves behind her siblings, William (Clara) Johnson, Dorothy (Robert) Brown and Dr. Mack (Janice) Johnson; her also leaves twenty-seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and extended family of foster children BUT NEVER foster children to mother Williams, Mother Williams love the Lord, her family, loved her children, her church and a host of friends.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Immanuel Christian Church with Dr. Mack Johnson, officiating. The interment will in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.
