Lawrence Henry Johnson, Jr., "Flipper" of Lynchburg passed away September 5, 2013 at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was born October 11, 1951 to the late Minnie L. Johnson and Lawrence H. Johnson, Sr.
Those left to cherish his memories are his father, Lawrence H. Johnson, Sr.; two daughters, Shantee J. Elliott, of Newport News, VA and Erica S. Smith (Rodney), of Lynchburg; two brothers, Jerome Johnson, of Newport News, VA and Larry Johnson, of Lynchburg; three grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, September 9, 2013 at Davis-Turner Funeral Service with Dr. James Cobbs, officiating. The interment will be in the Pleasant Valley Church Cemetery.
