Obituary
On Monday, November 26, 2013 Larry Eugene Weston, Sr. entered into enternal rest at UVA Medical Center, Charlottesville, VA.
He was born on October 21, 1938 in Hattiesburg, MS to the late Deacon Silas James and Luella Brown Weston. He was the youngest of seven children.
After a brief career in the United States Army he relocated to New York and met and married his wife of 52 years, Bertha Mae Jennings.
Larry was a foreman at Mica Paper Plant in New York for over fifteen years before moving his family to Lynchburg, VA. As his health began to decline he retired from Griffin pipe in 1997.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Samuel J. Weston, James Weston; two sisters, Lillie Mae James and Ruby Lee Fuller.
He leaves to cherish his memory a devoted wife, Bertha M. Weston; two sons, Larry E. Weston, Jr. and Terrance Weston, both of Lynchburg; three daughters, Indra (David)Tinsley, of Madison Heights, Kim (Raymond) Laibhen, of Indianapolis, Indiana and Shavena Weston, of Lynchburg, VA; two sisters, Kathryn (Louis) Williams, of Colonial Heights, VA and Dorothy of New York, New York; eleven grandchildren, Anton, Jeremy, Melanie, Jared, Ashley, Amber, Jada, Kayla, Tevin, Amya, Dominic; four great-grandchildren; Willie Mitchell Jennings and Lewis (Addie) Jennings; two sisters-in-laws, Hilda Hunt and Iola Weston and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
