Larry "Truck" Megginson , departed this life Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at his residence. He was born on March 26, 1957 the son of the late Elaine Megginson Jackson and was the step son of the late Jessie Jackson. He was also preceded in death by a grandson Carmello Dabney.
"Truck" joined Mt. Peeler Baptist Church at an early age.
He is survived by his life time partner, Barbara Jackson; two loving daughters, Shaneika (Abram) and Shantel; four grandchildren, Seveyah, Amariyah, Pierre and Angelo; a loving brother, Dennis (Beverly) Megginson, of Roanoke Rapids, NC; a devoted niece, Ketura (Mead) Buster, of Richmond, VA; aunt, Carol (Leon) Clark, of Madison Heights; two great nephews; two sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law and numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
