Larnza Culpepper (Mack), Sr., 87, departed this life on Thursday, November 03, 2022, at Forest Health and Rehab Center of Lynchburg, Virginia. He was born on April 30, 1935, to the late John and Mary L. Culpepper. He was preceded in death by his son, Larnza Culpepper, Jr. (Junnie), grandson, Eric Knutson; his brother, Fred Ackers; sisters, Alberta Culpepper, Geneva Irving, Murdis (Lou) Ferguson.

He was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church and our daddy used to love fishing in his spare time.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his three daughters, Sylvia Perkins (Darin) of Buckingham, VA, Evelyn Ferguson (Raymond) of Crestview, FL, and Regina Taylor (Johnny) of Spout Springs, VA. As everyone knows us as Tilba, Ibe, and Gina; our little brother, Arthur Irving (Archie)-(Amanda); one sister, Eleanor Franklin; one sister-in-law, Stella Ackers; eight grandchildren, Tony McCoy, Jr. (Kimberly), Tavin Manigo, Drayton Ferguson (Jessica), Ladetra Collins (Marquis), Yashika Culpepper, Larnza Culpepper, III, Toccara Culpepper, Tanequa Moore; fourteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews as well as other relatives and friends.

A homegoing celebration will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at Jordan Baptist Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Service of comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
