IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kimberly "Kimmie"
Douglas
July 3, 1996 – October 17, 2025
Kimberly passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025, at just 29 years old. Though her time with us was far too short, she lived an extraordinary life filled with love, kindness, and compassion. She touched so many hearts—from family to friends—and was known for her caring spirit, respectful nature, and the way she always put others first.
She is survived by her loving grandparents, Olivia and Fred Mayberry; her devoted siblings, Brittany Douglas, Samantha Douglas, Jessica Garner, Aaliyah Douglas, Otis Douglas, Jr., and Otis Douglas, III. She is also cherished by her aunts, Olivia Douglas and Ragina Essex; and her uncles, Charles Douglas, Kenneth Mayberry, Gary Mayberry (Vickie), Mark Mayberry, and Shaquille Thompson.
Kimmie leaves behind her adored nieces, Jazyana, Kinza, Orazia, and Ja'Mya Snead; and her nephews, Izon, Aarush, Kaiden, and Jalynn "Frog" Brown, who brought her immeasurable joy and laughter. She is also survived by many beloved cousins, Kristen, Tristen, Curtis (Ashley), Daniel, Kevin (Rhevin), Teven (Nakida), Whitney, Charles, Chris, Bernie, and Tiffany (Billy), along with a host of extended family and friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
Kimmie will be missed by so many, but her spirit will continue to live on through everyone who loved her. She helped countless people during her life, leaving behind beautiful memories and lessons of love that will never fade. Her passing has left us all heartbroken, but we take comfort in knowing she is now reunited with her parents.
Kimmie loved fishing, spending time with her nieces and nephews, and helping anyone she could. She had a big heart and giving spirit that touched everyone around her. She was especially fond of peacocks, admiring their beauty and grace. A true hard worker, Kimmie proudly held down two jobs, always giving her best no matter how busy life became.
Kimmie's gentle and caring nature extended to all living things—she also leaves behind her beloved ferrets, Skunk and Sid, and her two cherished turtles, who were constant companions and a source of comfort and happiness in her life.
Her family is deeply grateful for all the love, prayers, and support during this unimaginable time. No one was prepared for this loss, and any donations or help toward making her final wishes come true are so greatly appreciated.
