Kimberly Davis, 62, of Detroit, passed away on June 8, 2021, in Lynchburg, Va.

Kim was born in Detroit on August 7, 1958, to the late Elna Zink and Sarney Hayes Jr. She attended and graduated from Thomas M. Cooley High School in 1976. She was employed by waste management where she retired after 32 years of service.

Kim's magnetic personality and loving character drew many people. Those who knew her enjoyed her company.

She married Harold Davis Sr. on March 4, 1979

Kim is survived by two daughters and one son, Anna Davis, Valerie Davis, and Harold Davis Jr. of Lynchburg, Va; four grandchildren Cameron Davis, Adriana Barnett, Ariyah Parrish, and Katari Bowen of Lynchburg, Va; two sisters Lajuana Ecklers and Phyllis Stewart of Detroit Michigan; three brothers Sarney Hayes, Stephen Hayes, and Derrick Hayes of Detroit Michigan; two brother-in-laws Kenneth Davis and Elder Gary Davis of Lynchburg, Va and a host of other relatives and friends.

Kim is preceded in death by her mother Elna Zink, father Sarney Hayes Jr, stepfather Robert Zink, brother Terrance Hayes, and husband Harold Davis Sr.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to Davis/Turner Funeral Home at 1016 Rivermont Ave, Lynchburg, VA 24504.

Visitation will be held from 12pm to 5:00pm Friday, June 11, 2021, at Davis/Turner Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Davis/Turner Funeral Home. Elder Gary Davis of First Church of Jesus Apostolic Faith will be officiating. Burial will follow the funeral at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. Repass services will be held following the burial at Rivermont Baptist Church at 400 Fauquier St, Lynchburg, Va. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Davis/Turner Funeral Home.

He will wipe away every tear from

their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither
