Kenneth (Kenny) David Wade departed this life on September 5, 2018. He was born on March 15, 1973 to Curtis and Vernelle Wade.
Kenny was the head coach for the Men's Basketball team at Patrick Henry Community College. He also served as the Director of Facilities and Assistant Athletic Director.
Kenny leaves a host of family and friends to cherish his memory, including his father and mother, Curtis and Vernelle Wade, brothers Ronnie and Leo Wade; sisters Carolyn Preston, Angela Patterson, Linda Wade, and Glory Wade all of Rocky Mount, VA. He also leaves behind a god-daughter Kennady Wade and a host of nephews and nieces. Kenny also has a devoted friend Sherri Leavelle.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 9, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 10, 2018 at 12:00 noon. Both services will be held at the Pigg River Community Center 2410 South Main Street, Rocky Mount, VA. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Missionary Baptist Church Memorial Gardens.
