Obituary
Kenneth Wayne Shaffer "Tadpole" of Big Island passed away Friday, November 8, 2013 at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was born May 2, 1968 to the late Lawrence and Lizzie Reed Shaffer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Lawrence and Lizzie Reed Shaffer and one brother Leroy Shaffer.
He was a member of Sharon Baptist Church.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Marquisha, Domanek Shaffer, of California; two brothers, Charles Lewis Shaffer (Michelle), of Forest and Jimmy Shaffer, of Bedford; three sisters, Phyllis S. Lacy (Harold), of Madison Heights, Bessie Glover (Donnie), of Raphine, VA and Janet Husaw (David), Lexington, VA; one aunt, Patricia Dabney (George), of Big Island; ten nieces and nephews; four great nieces; five great nephews and a host of cousins other relatives and friends; a devoted friend Charlie Hurt; of Big Island, VA.
