Kenneth Perry Miller, aged 82, of Lynchburg, VA departed this life on July 04, 2022, at 12:40 AM at Guggenheimer Nursing Home surrounded by his loving family. Kenneth was born April 24, 1940, to the late Easter Estelle Miller. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Clara Miller who raised him, four brothers, Irvin, Calvin, Ronald and Raymond Brown; two sisters, Loretta Brown and Theresa Hawkins; and mother of his children, Joyce Miller Johnson.

Kenneth was a member of Rising Sun Missionary Baptist Church until he united with the Worshippers of Christ Church in Elon, VA under the leadership of Elder Fletcher Hubbard, Sr. Kenneth relocated to Baltimore, MD and became a member of the Missionary Christian Church. He was an avid Bible scholar and always shared his exhaustive knowledge of the Bible with his brothers and sisters in Christ until his health began to decline. Kenneth was educated in the Amherst County Public Schools and was a loyal and dedicated driver for Medical Transport. Kenneth was truly loved by the clients, and he looked forward to sharing scriptures with them and faithfully prayed for them and their health and well-being.

Kenneth leaves to cherish his fond memories, three daughters, Sherry D. Burford (Fiancé, Marvin Hubbard), Tonya M. Jones (Fiancée, Jeraldo Todman) both of Lynchburg, VA, Yolanda M. Harmon of Orlando, FL; ten grandchildren; six brothers, Ray, Calvin, Larry, Derald, Michael and Thomas Brown all of Detroit, MI; two sisters, Vivian Wheeler of Detroit, MI and Faye Downing of Washington, DC; devoted friends, Oliver Miller, Sr., Reverend Peyton Reid, Winifred Thomas; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A homegoing celebration will be held 2:00PM Friday, July 08, 2022, at Davis-Turner Funeral Service. Interment will be in the Rising Sun Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
