She was born in Nelson County  to the late Dwain Taylor Allen and Hattie Rose Johnson.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings; Catherine Lawrence, Janet Johnson, Elsie Barker, Helen Johnson, Edward Johnson and Cosby Johnson.

June leaves to cherish her memory, three children, Gloria J. Veney, Georgia Mae Brown and Edward S. Brown,

One brother, William Johnson (Sarah), a devoted niece; LeRussell Johnson and a sister-in-law, Geneva Randolph.  10 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren, nieces, great nieces, nephews, great newphews, cousins other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 16, 2014 at St. James Baptist Church, Nelson County with Rev. David Brown, Pastor, officiating.  The interment will be in the church cemetery.
