Julius H. Dortch, 89, of Lynchburg passed away Saturday January 20, 2007 at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was born June 28, 1917 to the late Charles and Maude Dortch. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Lovie Bell Dortch; one brother James Dortch; two sister, Francis Zanzie and Evelyn Freeman.
Those left to cherish his memories are 14 children, Maurice Dortch, Barbara Ferguson, Sandra Dortch, Delores Moore, Phillip Dortch, Beverly Shelle, Althea Figaroa, Teresa Dortch, Clifton Dortch, Sylvia Taylor, Russell Dortch, James Dortch, Vincent Dortch and Deborah Dugger; 39 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Wednesday at Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witness 1291 Bear Creek Rd. Rustburg with Louie Amaro officiating.
