Juanita Faye Morris departed this life on January 28, 2021 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was born on January 22, 1954 in Amherst, VA to the late Maggie Higginbotham and Ernest Scott. Of this union she had 3 sisters and 5 brothers. At the age of 15, she was adopted by Salis and Melinda Turner. Out of this union she had 35 siblings.

At the early age of 15, Juanita became a member of the Bolling Hill Baptist Church. She could be found helping wherever help was needed and serving on the senior usher board up until the Lord called her home.

Juanita leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Karen Barnes (James) of Lynchburg, VA; one son, Derek Morris of Lynchburg, VA; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; numerous God-children, nieces, nephews, and other relatives; and a close friend, Roy L. Hall, who was always present when called.

A celebration of life for immediate family only will be held 2PM Saturday, February 06, 2021 at the Bolling Hill Church Cemetery with Rev. Edward Jones, Eulogist. Juanita will be on view Friday, February 05, 2021 from 10-6 at Davis-Turner Funeral Service. COVID precautions will be in place. Please wear a mask.
