Joyce Ann Pennix Robertson peacefully departed her life on September 19, 2025, at her home in Gladstone, VA. She was born on October 13, 1937, to the late Claude and Sallie Pennix. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Robertson, of 69 years and her children, Loretta Robertson, Richard Robertson, Leonard Robertson, Patricia Ferguson, and Ferando Robertson; siblings, Lloyd Pennix, Jean Mosley,  Betty Pettigrew, Thomas Pennix, Claude Pennix, Dennis Pennix, and Melinda Megginson; sons-in-law, Charles Revely and Edward Ferguson; and a Special daughter, Vonda Trent.

She served as the Mother of the church and deaconess at Second Mineral Springs Church, where she served many years. She worked and retired from Courtland MFG after many years. Joyce Ann loved spending time with her family, cooking, and working her puzzle book.

Joyce leaves to cherish her memories her sons, Henry Robertson and Bruce Robertson (Mia); her daughters, Delores Robertson, Caroline Revely, Marilyn Bailey (Harry), and Gale Robertson (Roscoe); daughter-in-law, Elnore Robertson; her brothers, Phillip Pennix (Jenny), Robert Pennix, Michael Pennix (Willie), and Eddie Pennix (Sandra); her sister, Catherine Christian (David); sister-in-law, Louise Pennix; a devoted grandson, Gregory Robertson (Porkchop), 27 grandkids; 44 great-grandkids; 11 great-great grandkids; a special daughter that she raised, Peggy Revely; and two special friends, Mike Turner and Mike Meeks.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Davis-Turner Funeral Service. Service of comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
