John S. Ferguson 77, of Lynchburg passed away Tuesday March 24, 2009 at Guggenheimer Nursing Home. He was born July 23, 1931 to the late George and Julia Morgan Ferguson. Those left to cherish his memories are, his children, Wayne, Vanessia, Marvin and Lewis; sister, Daisy Jones; brother, Sam Ferguson and a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday March 28, 2009 at Davis-Turner Funeral Service with Rev. Edward Jones, Sr.officating. The interment will be in the Ferguson Family Cemetery.
