Mr. James Wilbert Smith Sr. departed his life on July 20, 2016 at Beacon Place in Greensboro, NC. He was born on May 22, 1938 in Lynchburg VA to the late Harry and Willie B Smith. He was preceded in death by his sister, Dorris Clark. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife of 56 years Revell Smith; three children, Denise Farmer, Delores Smith and James W. Smith, Jr.; a brother Harry Smith Jr.; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Mt. Peeler Baptist Church with Pastor Rev. Coles, officiating and Rev. Dallas Scales, as eulogist. The interment will be held in the Archer Creek Cemetery.
