Mr. James Early McDaniel Sr., born May 11, 1918 departed this life on Wednesday Dec. 8th 2010 at his residence at the age of 92. James McDaniel was one of 10 children born to the late Mr. Charlie and Lillie McDaniel of Madison Heights Virginia. Mr. James McDaniel was a devoted member of the First Church of Jesus Lynchburg, Virginia where he served as a deacon until he was no longer able.
James McDaniel was preceded in death by his first wife of 48 years Mrs. Viola Tardy McDaniel a loving and devoted companion. James was also preceded in death by three bothers Joe, Levi and Leonard, five sisters Adelia, Virginia, Ruby, Beatrice and Loraine.
He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife Clara, one son James E. McDaniel Jr. (Denise) of his first marriage, three grandchildren Lamont McDaniel (Sabrina), James McDaniel III (Tre), Chantel Latrice McDaniel, a step son Tyree Davis (Marie), a devoted nephew Rev. Leonard Harris (Florania) and a host of other nieces nephews other family members and friends.
