James Lee Candis, Jr. "Jimmy" passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016 at his residence. He was born March 19, 1953 to late James Candis, Sr. and Effie Victoria Candis and was preceded in death by a toddler brother, Jerry Candis.

Mr. Candis was the third oldest sibling of eleven children born unto his parents; Barbara Ann Ward (Irvin, Sr.), BettyAnn Ricks, Horace Lee Candis (Gloria), Albert Lee Candis, Joanne Denise Crocker (Shelley, Jr.), MaryAnn Candis, Shirley Victoria Morris (Wayne), Alphonso Lee Candis, Joan Maria Austin (Lindsey, Sr.).

Jimmy is survived by two daughters Lynnette Candis of Chesapeake Virginia, Victoria Bratley of Kissimmee, Florida, one son Sean Meadows of Herbert, North Carolina and nine grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Bountiful Blessings COGIC with Elder IL Ward, officiating. The interment will be held at Albert G.
