Obituary

James Junior Christian (Boss Man) departed this life on April 11, 2012. He was born January 26, 1938 to the late Deacon James A. and Martha W. Christian of Madison Heights. He was preceded in death by his wife Annie Delois Christian of Inkster, Michigan.
He attended public schools in Amherst County. He was employed at General Electric, Archer Creek Foundry and Walmart.
He is survived by his sister, Carolyn B. Christian, Madison Heights; a devoted friend, Queen Jackson of Rustburg; five daughters, Venus (Thomas) King of Madison Heights, Janquil (Michael) King, Bonnie (Joe) Arnold, Sherra Christian, Kimberly Christian all of Inkster, Michigan; one step-daughter, Pamela Perry of Rustburg; seven grandchildren, December King, Yohanaus King, Christian King, Whitney (Damien) Horsley, Lonnie Lawrence, Briana King, Dierra Lewis; four step-grandchildren, Yolanda King, Kira King, Joe Arnold, III, Tiffany Perry; ten great-grandchildren, three uncles, five aunts, four brother-in-laws, four sister-in-laws, other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 16 at Scott Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Lee, officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, April 15 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Davis-Turner Funeral Service and the family will be receiving friends at the home of Venus and Thomas King, 362 Elon Road, Madison Heights, VA on Saturday from 1:00 pm to 7:00p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
