James Thurman Anderson, 72 years young, of Lynchburg, Virginia passed away Friday, March 27, 2020 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home, Brookneal, Virginia.  James was born August 14, 1947 to the late Mr. John Harvey Anderson and Carlean Bucker Anderson.  He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Marion Harvey, Wesley Anderson, Elgie Buckner and Theodore Anderson.

James was a retired landscaper and his favorite things to watch in his pass time were Sci-Fi movies, the 6 O'clock news and westerns (especially the black & white versions).  All while drinking a cold can of country club, a shot of vodka and smoking his cigs.

Those Left to Cherish are his daughters, Konica Calloway Anderson, of South Carolina, Corita Anderson, of New York and Sandra Anderson, of Lynchburg with a host of other grandchildren; great grandchildren; a devoted caretaker of seven years, Michelle Lee Harvey his niece; his loving siblings,  Charlette Harris, of Lynchburg, Irene Brown, of Lynchburg, and Harvey Anderson, of Washington, DC and a host of other family and friends.

Uncle J, you were more than my uncle, you were my father and the 72-year-old young son I never had…smile.  Rest in peace with Christ love and heavenly blessings…. Amen
