Obituary
Jacob Matthews Terry, Sr., 73, of Lynchburg passed away Friday, January 3, 2014 at Avante Nursing Home. He was born on August 5, 1940 to the late Nathaniel Terry and Vastie Virginia Stone Terry.
Those left to cherish his memories are one daughter, Pamela Robertson, of Lynchburg; two sons, Michael (Juan) Terry of Lynchburg and Nathaniel (Cherrelle) Terry, of Appomattox; three sisters, Shirley Wright, of Washington, DC, Dorthea "Lizzy" Flower and Sallie Stone, of Washington, DC and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held 4:30 PM, Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at First Baptist Church, South Lynchburg with Dr. C. B. Hutcherson, officiating. Condolences may be sent to www.Davis-Turner.com. Service of comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
