Mrs. Jackquline 'Jackie' Cotton, age 37, departed this life
on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at her residence.

She was born on February 19, 1975 to the late Pastor Matthew S. Cotton and Barbara G. Cotton. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Georgia Leftwich, Ted Brown, Emory and Mary Cotton.

She was a member of Living Word Ministries Church in Lynchburg, VA. She loved to sing and cherished her family and friends.

She leaves to honor her memory: daughters, Denayha Cotton and Destiny Payne of Lynchburg, VA; twin sister, Madeline Cotton of Richmond VA; brother, Matthew E. Cotton of Lynchburg, VA; sister, Barbara M. Cotton of Lynchburg, VA; nieces, Aisha Alexander and Jakayla Cotton of Lynchburg, VA and nephew, Matthew E. Cotton II of Lynchburg, VA; special friends, Ron Slaughter, Keisha Simms and Evette Venable; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Living Word Ministries Church
825 Taylor Street, with Minister Wimberly, officiating and Pastor James E. Camm, as eulogist. The family will receive friends Monday from 7-8 PM at Davis-Turner Funeral Service and other times at 201 I Street, Lynchburg.
