Gwendolyn Evette Miller, affectionately known to many as Sister, was born July 14, 1967, to the late Lillie Mae Miller and Norvel Wayne Smith. She departed this life on April 29, 2022.

Sister attended Lynchburg City Schools and she was baptized at an early age. She was a member of Prayer of Faith Temple under the leadership of the late Bishop Norton B. Wilder.

She leaves to cherish her memories a daughter, Tamala White of Lynchburg; two sons, Corey (Shannon) White of Lynchburg and Isaiah (Courtney) White of North Carolina; a devoted granddaughter, Nautica Wilson; 14 other grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Keith Miller of Lynchburg; a loving and devoted aunt, Fontaine Miller; and a host of family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, May 04, 2022, at Davis-Turner Funeral Service. Service of comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
