God saw fit to call one of his angels home Sunday night, October
18,2020 at 11:00 PM at Lynchburg General Hospital, Ms. Geraldine Avis
Hamlett.
She was the daughter of the late Edward Hamlett, Sr. and Jane Avis Cox
Hamlet. She was preceded in death by one brother, Edward Hamlett Jr.
and one aunt, Mrs. Mary Tweedy and two uncles, Willie Franklin, Earl
Franklin and A Nephew Cartez O. Hamlett.
Her memory will be cherished forever by her sons, Dale Hamlett of Concord, VA., And Sammie E. Hamlet of Chesterfield VA. Two devoted sisters
Ms. Doris Hamlet and Ms. Ruby Hamlett of Lynchburg, VA. Two
Brothers, James Hamlett of Lynchburg, VA and Robert Hamlett of
Concord VA. One ,Aunt Mrs. Irma Jones of Lynchburg, VA.
She will be greatly missed, but her memories will be cherished in the
hearts of all that knew and loved her. She leaves to cherish her memories
other siblings and a devoted cousin, Mrs. Alisa McIvor. A grandson, Ashen Roberts, and a host of Nieces, Great Nieces, Nephews and other relatives and Friends.
