On Sunday, December 27, 2009, Georgia, was called home from the Carrington Nursing Home, Lynchburg, Virginia. Georgia was born on July 13, 1916, to the late George and Kate Dillard in Lynchburg, VA. She leaves to mourn her passing, her children, Winfred Jr., Marvin, Peggy and Wayne Sr.; devoted son-in-law, Randolph Austin, Sr. and daughter-in-law, Andrea Smith; brother, Maceo Dillard; sisters-in-law, Odessa Witter and Marva Blair; brother-in-law, Leroy Smith; grandchildren, Zephrem Smith, twins, Sherman Smith & Sharon Malloy, Randolph Austin, Jr., Marnetta Smith, Marcia Smith, Tammie Shavers, Kenita Smith, Deidre Austin, Manshalo Wood and Wayne Smith, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Joshua Smith, Daniel Smith, Zefani Smith, Jo'Nique Morris, Brittany Gains, Matthew Peet, Donnell Newton, Derick Smith, Dyra Smith, Rasheem Crews, Amber Edwards, Bria Cottrell, Kahas Johnson and Marcus Johnson; one great great grandchild Ayamig Wood and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, adopted family and friends.

A funeral service will be held 12 noon Thursday, December 31, 2009 at Davis-Turner Funeral Service with Rev. C.B. Hutcherson officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
