Mr. George William Bolding, 86, of Lynchburg, slipped into eternal rest on Thursday, April 14, at Fairmont Crossing Nursing. George was a spirit filled man who loved the Lord, and his family, with all his heart. He served in the US Army, in Korean War, 1952-1954. He earned rank of Corporal and he was also a tank driver and was honorably dischared. He was a Chef, at The Virginian Hotel and CVTC for many years.
He was preceded in death, by his parents, Deacon Alexander Bolding, Sr. and Mrs. Savannah Bolding; siblings, Robert & Frances Bolding.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories, a devoted daughter, Devera Martin (Michael); son, William Brown; grand-daughter, Jasmine Martin, FL; Alex, Jr. (June), Thelma Waterstraat, Savannah Hubbard, (Elder Hubbard) and Ernest Bolding; brother-in-law, Richard Waterstraat and son, William Brown, all of Lynchburg; nieces, Frances Carpenter (Ret. US Navy Captain, Hank), of Lorton; step daughters, Debra Payne (Charles), of Madison Heights and Machelle Glover, Spout Springs and other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
