Obituary
He was born June 23, 1924 in Pittsylvania County to the late Martha Denny Farmer and William Farmer. He was married to the late Pauline Hogue Farmer. Fred worked for the Dan River Mills until retirement and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
He is survived by one sister, Ola (Nazarene) Farmer Hubbard of Ringgold; one brother, Thomas Farmer of Danville and host of relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, October 30, 2011 at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Clarence McLaughlin officiating on Old Richmond Road, Danville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service and other times at 177 William Dr. Danville. Condolences may be sent to www.Davis-Turner.com .
