Frances P. Allen of Lynchburg passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Avante Nursing Home.  She was born on February 17, 1924 to the late Starling Scott and Mary Ward Scott.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary F. Saunders.

She was a member of Silver Grove Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son-in-law, John Saunders, two sisters, Lucy Raven and Jeanette Davis, both of Evington; three step sisters, one step brother and one sister-in-law, and two grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Friday July 27, 2018 at Silver Grove Baptist Church with Dr. William Coleman, Officiating and  Rev. Glover, Eulogist.  Service of comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
