Felix Jerome Jones, 51, Madison Heights, passed away Wednesday March 16, 2011 at Lynchburg General Hospital. Born December 6, 1959 to Eva S. Jones and the late Percy Jones. Those left to cherish his memory including his mother are four sisters, Rochelle Jones-Anyumba (George) of Baltimore, MD, Cheryl Jones, of Marlow Heights, MD, Jennifer D. Jones and Beatrice Jones Booker (Sylvester); grandmother, Mary Louise Smith all of Amherst ; four nieces, Relante` Jones, Richmond, VA, Kyana Jones-Pruitt, Waldorf, MD, Bianca Jones, of Austin, TX and Bijona Booker; one nephew, Jaquan Wade all of Amherst; godson, Alfred Jerome Braxton, of PA; devoted friend, Roslyn Megginson; six aunts, one uncle, one great uncle and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Monday, March 21, 2011 at St. Mark Baptist Church, Amherst with Pastor, Rev. Michael Terry, officiating. Interment will be in the Jones Family Cemetery. Military rites will be given by American Legion post #16. The family will receive friends Sunday at funeral home from 7-8 Pm and other times at the home.
