In loving memory, celebrating the wonderful life of Evelyn Johnson Booker fondly known as, "Mommee", born June 16, 1935, to the late Emma Miller Johnson and Thomas Johnson. Evelyn departed her heavenly life on March 09, 2023. She is mostly known for her caring spirit. Evelyn loved to watch her soap operas, game shows, and cook. She was also a chef at Emil's in Boonsboro Shopping Center for many years until retirement.

She left many to cherish her memory for years to come. Her devoted partner, James E. Brown, Sr.; children, Cathleen (Stephon) Booker, Earl (Donna) Booker, Dorothy (Kenny) Banks, Demond Brown; a devoted sister-in-law, Christy Brown; along with over 20 grandchildren; even more great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and a host of Brothers and sisters-in-law with nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Evelyn even had the pleasure of raising a few along the way devoted granddaughters, Felicia Booker, Shantara Booker; a loving niece, Rhonda Johnson; and a devoted great-granddaughter, Kathleen "CeCe" Cooper.

She was preceded in death, by her late husband, Willis Earl Booker; sister, Emma Jean Johnson; and brother, Richard Thomas Johnson, Sr. Her children, Charles Booker, Michael J. Booker, Virginia Booker, Anita Brown, and James "Jim" Brown; niece, Tilawanda Marie "Pumpkin" Johnson; and nephews, Richard "Ricky" Johnson and Michael Johnson.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at the Baptist Cemetery. Service of comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
