Mrs. Eva Mae Scruggs was born on October 17, 1940 to Jessie Lee and Eva Mae Wright. Eva Mae received her education through the Appomattox County Schools.
Eva Mae Scruggs was truly blessed. She was preceded in death by her loving father and mother, Jessie Lee and Eva Mae Wright; beloved sister, Clara Forest; brothers, Charles Wright, Eddie Wright; son, Stephen Scruggs.
She leaves to cherish her memories six daughters, Nina Johnson, Deana Davis (Kevin), Shelia McCoy, all of Lynchburg, Charlene Wheeler, of NC, Donna McCoy, of MD; Laura; two sons, Donnie Scruggs (Debbie) and Ron Pennix, all of Lynchburg; five devoted sisters, Rosa Calloway, Elizabeth Wright, Edna Wright, Mattie Edmondson; one brother, Elzies Wright, of Lynchburg and a very devoted Cousin, Evelyn and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
