Eva Louise McDaniel Jefferson

On Monday Morning, October 13, 2014, in the presence of her loving family; the Soul of Eva Louise McDaniel Jefferson transitioned and took on Spiritual Immortality.
Eva was born on June 11, 1947, in Washington, DC; a daughter of the late James and Grace Crawford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a Sister, Linda Turner.
Eva attended schools in Amherst County, Central Virginia Community College, and Centra Health School of Practical Nursing. Her dream to be a Licensed Practical Nurse became a reality for her in 1998. She was employed at several Health Care Facilities; including West Minister Canterbury.
Eva attended Smyrna Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was actively involved in church activities until illness prevented her from serving.
She was a pacesetter, a visionary, and was never too apprehensive to step out on faith. Eva Louise McDaniel Jefferson was an icon bigger than life. Her ability to adapt to any situation, stimulating conversation, tenacity, warm smile, and generous spirit; will forever be a legacy that valiantly lives on in all of us.
Eva leaves to honor her memory; Four Children; Alissia Hood (Mark) Donald McDaniel (Peggy), Gary McDaniel, Sr. (Cheri), and Raven Usry; Two Sisters; Norma Johnson, and Nellie Crawford; a Brother, James Crawford, Jr.; Seven Grand Children, One Great Grand Child; her Best Friend, Beulah Bradley, Numerous Nieces, Nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The Family is receiving friends on Friday Evening, October 17, 2014; 7:00-8:00 PM at Davis Turner Funeral Home, and other times at the residence of her Daughter, Raven Usry – 616 Norwood Street – Lynchburg, VA. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 18, 2014; at Smyrna Seventh Day Adventist Church – 9ll Taylor Street – Lynchburg, VA; with Pastor Danny Milton Officiating and Sharing the Eulogy.
