IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Eric B.
Lee
December 27, 1950 – August 26, 2024
Eric Blane Lee entered into eternal rest on August 26, 2024. He was born on December 27, 1950, to the late Thomas Lee, Sr. and Blanche Robinson Lee.
Eric leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Erica L. Lee and Jasmine Wayne; his sons, Jacob Lee and Elijah Lee all of Lynchburg; seven grandchildren, Ke'Eric Davis, Jeremiah Wayne, Eveveya, Mary Yonna, Faith, and Angel; two great-grandchildren, Kayomi Davis and Jasiah Lee; two brothers, Thomas Lee, Jr. (Fannie) of Bedford, VA and Aaron Lee (Amanda) of California; and a host of family and friends.
Eric was educated in the Lynchburg City School System, graduating from Dunbar High School, this is where Eric found his love for basketball and continued his journey to Norfolk State University on a full ride. After an injury, Eric returned to Lynchburg where he served his community as a GLTC bus driver for many years and Allied Cab driver until his illness would no longer allow him to drive. Eric was a member of the Amazing Grace Church in Lynchburg.
Eric was known around the community as 7 Feet, Van Man, or E. Lee. Eric loved his Westerns from sunrise to sunset (with a dash of coffee). If Eric didn't have his daughter, Erica, picking up ice cream sandwiches he had her playing his numbers (like us all hoping to hit it big).
A celebration of Eric's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Davis-Turner Funeral Service. The Family will be receiving friends Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at Davis-Turner Funeral Service from 5:00 pm-6:00 pm at Davis-Turner Funeral Service. Service of comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
