Emery Quienton Saunders entered eternal rest on March 20, 2025. He was born January 1, 1988, to Sharon Peters Lewis (Anthony Glass). He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Viola and Leonard Peters; and maternal aunt, Erna Peters Tweedy; as well as his brother, Chad Bryant.

In addition to his mother, he leaves to cherish his memory: his father, Herman Saunders; one daughter, Kaylee Powers; two aunts, Debra and Brenda Peters; two uncles, Leonard Peters, Jr. and Kermit Tweedy; a great aunt, Crystal Peters. First cousins: Zann, Tecora, Sean, Christopher, Tiffany, and Carmen; early childhood playmate, Kermitra Tweedy; devoted friends, Travis Powers and April Dunbar; along with a host of relatives and friends.

He confessed his faith in God at an early age at New Vine Baptist Church. His gifts of creating art, tattoos, painting, and drawing were exceptional. He loved to fish, camp, and hunt. He took pride in being a descendant of the Occoneechee-Saponi tribe.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:30 P.M. Sunday, March 30, 2025, at New Vine Baptist Church.
