Elvalena Horsley, 61, of Lynchburg passed away Sunday, April 7, 2019.  Elvalena was born August 1, 1957 to the late Edward S. Horsley and Henrietta I. Horsley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, James E. Horsley and one sister, Ruby M. Russell.

Elvalena was a dedicated Dallas Cowboys fan.  She loved to karaoke and enjoyed her weekly sessions of chicken foot with her friends.  Elvalena was the happiest when she had a chance to spend time with her great nieces and nephews.

Those left to cherish her memories are one sister, Elnora Horsley of Lynchburg; two brothers, Larry J. Horsley, of Gladstone and Darnell D. (Barbara) Horsley, Sr., of Madison Heights; a devoted sister-in-law, Denise Horsley and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A memorial celebration of her life will be held at Davis-Turner Funeral Service Thursday, April 12, 2019 at 11:00 am.  The family will receive friends at the residence of 1529 Rainbow Forest Dr. Lynchburg.  Service of comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
