Elmore Sandidge, of 45B Smitty Circle passed away Friday, March 2, 2012 at his
residence. He was born to the late Oscar and Martha Sandidge November 29, 1947.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Atwell, Fred, Thomas Sandidge and his
twin Elburn Earl Sandidge.

He was the husband of Alice Sandidge for 42 years and is survived by four
daughters, Teresa Sandidge, Terri Sandidge, Tina Scott and Teisha Sandidge; one
son, Elmore Davis, Jr.; seven sisters, Shirley Garland, Deborah Sandidge,
Doretha Cabell, all of Madison Heights, Fannie (Carroll) Paige, Virgie (Wiley)
Braxton and Lennie Henley, all of Amherst; three brothers, Rev. J.L (Mary Ann)
Sandidge, Wade (Wilma) Sandidge, both of Amherst and David Sandidge, of
Alexandra, VA; 10 grandchildren and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at New Jerusalem
Baptist Church with Rev. Rodney Harris, Pastor, officiating and Rev. J.L.
Sandidge as Eulogist. The interment will be in the New Jerusalem Baptist Church
Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 7-8 PM at Davis-Turner
