Obituary
Edward "Tosey" Sparrow of Amherst passed away Monday, January 14, 2013 and answered the call to be with the Lord. "Tosey" was the youngest son of Roosevelt and Myrtle Sparrow. He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
"Tosey" loved to cook and entertain family and friends. He was a retired employee of B&W and Winfree and Wright Funeral Home.
"Tosey" leaves to cherish his memory, two sisters, Pauline Campbell, of Pittsburg, PA and Sally Washington of Amherst; one brother, Theodore Roosevelt Sparrow and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, January 19, 2013 at St. Peter Baptist Church, Amherst with Rev. Jasper Fletcher, officiating. The interment will be in the Sparrow Family Cemetery.
