Obituary
Eddie "Edison" Weathersbee, Jr. quietly departed this life on Sunday, December 13, 2009 at Lynchburg General Hospital.
Eddie was born in Barnwell, South Carolina on January 8, 1940. He is survived by his wife, Gwendolyn Ann Weathersbee; his son, Edward Weathersbee; a stepdaughter, Karen Crute, and two sisters, Emma Myers (Barnwell, SC) and Dora Bush (East Orange, NJ); two granddaughters, Karmel and Kiara, one great granddaughter, Keimora; a devoted aunts, Alma Frederick and Hattie Gibson, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family wishes to thank Forest Level Baptist Church, Pulmonary doctors, Dr. Milam and Dr. Johnson and medical staff and the Virginia Baptist Hospital CRCR staff. She also appreciates the prompt and efficient services rendered by the Campbell County Rescue Squad.
A celebration of life will be held 11:00 am Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009 at Forest Level Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Echols officiating. The interment will be held Monday, Dec. 21, 2009 in Barnwell South Caroline. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service.
