Ms. Earlean Swinson departed this life on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 in Lynchburg, Virginia. She is survived by one son, Darryl Alladice (and his wife Joy Rosenthal), one grand-daughter, Zuri Ray-Alladice, and one surviving sibling, Charles Eric Swinson. She was pre-deceased by her daughter, Denise Alladice-Bradley, siblings Calvin Swinson, Jessie Steverson, Soisetta Moore, and Horace Swinson.

Ms. Swinson was a member of 5th Street Baptist Church and a member of the Gospel Chorus.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 3, 2010 at 5th Street Baptist Church with Reverend Joseph D. Moore officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 2, 2010 from 7 – 8 P.M. at Davis-Turner Funeral Home, 1016 Rivermont Avenue, Lynchburg.
