Obituary

Earl Anthony Morgan, born on June 28, 1957, and departed on June 15, 2025. Earl was the beloved son of Richard Morgan, III and Willie Ann Clark Morgan, both of whom preceded him in death.

Earl was a proud graduate of Amherst County High School. Following his graduation, he dedicated his life to serving his country as a member of the United States Army. Enlisting as a 67R Attack Helicopter Repairer, Earl served with distinction through four overseas tours, including two in wartime. After an honorable 21-year career, he retired with a legacy of service and dedication.

In his post-military life, Earl worked diligently at the U.S. Postal Service for ten years. He further expanded his skills by earning a diploma in Marketing Management, demonstrating his lifelong commitment to growth and learning.

Earl leaves behind a family who will cherish his memory forever. He is survived by his three daughters: Jes'Shay Ross of Hinesville, Georgia; Samara Morgan; and Kaprina Morgan, both of Townsend, Georgia. He is also survived by his three granddaughters: Mi'Shay Morgan, Jorja Ross, and Ji'Amoni Brantley.

He is lovingly remembered by his brother, Richard Morgan, IV; and his four sisters: Patricia Thullah (James), Laverne Morgan, Juanita Morgan, and Nancy Long (Tony). He is also survived by one uncle, Harvey Morgan; and one aunt, Jessie (Sis) Toliver. Earl's legacy is also carried on through a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives who loved him dearly.

Earl's life was enriched by his devoted fiancée, Alice Irving, whose companionship was a treasured part of his journey.

Earl's laughter and countless memories will always be treasured by his closest family and friends from childhood to adulthood.

Rest in Peace, Earl Anthony Morgan your legacy will live on.

A celebration of Earl's life will be held to honor his memory and the impact he made on all who knew him on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Baptist Church, Lowesville, VA. The family will not be receiving anyone at the home after services are complete, please allow them to grieve privately. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Service of comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
