Mrs. Dorothy J. Penn departed this life on March 28, 2025. She was born on May 8, 1925, to the late Roosevelt Johnson and Nancy Williams. She was preceded in death by both parents, her husband Andrew L. Penn, and one stepson, George Williams.

She leaves to mourn her memory one sister, Lois Gregg of Washington, DC; one brother-in-law, Edgar Penn; one sister-in-law, Hattie Penn; three step-grandsons, Chris Williams, Shawn Williams, and George Williams; and a host of other cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A homegoing celebration will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Davis-Turner Funeral Service. Interment will be in the Scott Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Service of comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
