Dornel R. Waugh, 65, of Washington, DC passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021.  He was born to the late John M. Waugh, Sr. and Mary Sue Johnson Waugh.  He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Deloris Archie and Hilda M. Morris; brothers, Charlie Johnson, John Waugh, Jr., Nowlin Waugh and Ronald Waugh.

Dornel served in the US Marine Corps.

Those left to cherish his memories are his sisters, Mary Johnson (Roger, Sr), Annie Merriman (Garnett L.III), both of Lynchburg, Amy Waugh, of Monroe, VA and Alice Waugh, of Washington, DC; sisters-in-laws, Sharon Waugh (Las Vegas, NV) and Joan Waugh (Lynchburg, VA); devoted friends, Juanita Green, of Washington, DC, Betty Morgan and Francis Taylor, both of Amherst, VA; devoted nieces, Z`quichia Paige, of Lynchburg and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, April 03, 2021 at Davis-Turner Funeral Service with Rev.
