Mrs. Donna Marie Colvin Moore, 57, of Winchester, Virginia departed this life on February 6, 2014 at Blue Ridge Hospice Center of Winchester, Virginia. She was born January 26, 1957 in Winchester to Doug and Lois Colvin. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Carolyn Conner of Stephenson, Virginia.



She is survived by her husband, Edwin Moore of Winchester, Virginia; one daughter, Melissa Carter and son-in-law, Clinton Carter of Lynchburg, Virginia; stepson, Erik Thomas of Wilmington, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Olivia Carter of Fredricksburg, Virginia and Dionte Thomas of Gladys, Virginia; two brothers, Doug Colvin Jr. of West Virginia and Paul M. Colvin of California; two aunts, Susie and Ruth and two cousins, Brenda and Theresa of Winchester, Virginia; her in-laws, Edgar and Geneva Moore of Amherst, Virginia; two brother-in-laws, Harold Conner, of Stephenson, Virginia and Anthony Moore of Amherst, Virginia.



Donna worked at Monoflo International and was a devoted employee for 17 years. She loved her job and coworkers and they held a special place in her life.



The family would like to thank the staff of Valley Medical Center and Blue Ridge Hospice of Winchester, Virginia for her care during her illness.



Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at First Baptist Chuch Coolwell, 193 Mt. Airy Rd. Amherst, VA 24521, with the, Rev. Ernest Scott, officiating and Rev. Charles Frye, Pastor, as Eulogist. The interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the residence from 1:00 to 8:00 PM.
