Dianne Cole

January 30th 1943 - August 14th 2020

On August 14th 2020 Dianne B. Cole "Lady Di" gained her wings after battling an illness at Lynchburg General Hosiptal. She was born on January 30th 1943 in Washington D.C to the late Harry and Katherine Walls.

In addition to her parents, Dianne is preceded in death by her brother Harry Walls Jr., her sister Rochelle Walls, 2 sons Alvin Burch and Kenny Carter, also her daughter Tawana Gwala.

Dianne was raised in Washington D.C where she attended public schools. She lived in California for 21 years with her husband Joe. She loved to travel and she loved her family.

Dianne leaves to cherish her memories with her husband Burnis " The Joe Cole " Sr of 55 years. Her son Burnis "Killer" Cole (Trina), her daughter Jackie Cole, Benita Brown and Ralph Brown Jr. all of Washington D.C. Also her daughter Belinda Lewis (Ray) of Madison Heights. Dianne's sisters Sandra Walls of North Carolina, Pam Walls and Debra Walls (Dan) of Washington D.C. 6 Grandchildren Darlene Cole, Karen Carter, Dwayne Childs, Jaimie Chapman, Kimberly Cole, Raymond Lewis, Jazmyn Tchatchou. 9 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren. Brother in Laws Lavon Cole (Rosemary), Eugen Cole (Jackie), William Cole (Debra). Sister in Laws Nancy Brooks of Maryland. Fannie and Maise Cole of Virginia Beach, Jettie Cole (James) of New Jersey. God Daughters Patrice General of Silver Spring and Kim Gunter of Washington D.C. A host of Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends.

Dianne was a wonderful woman, that helped anyone her smile would light up a room. She was truly loved and will be greatly missed.

We will have family and friends night on Friday, September 11th, from 5-7 pm. The Memorial Service is Saturday, September 12th, at 2 pm at 1692 S. Coolwell Rd. Madison Heights, Va 24572. Family and Friends night will also be at the above address.
