Diago Shavar Martin, Sr. passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Lynchburg General Hospital.  He was born to Helen Martin Boone and the late Ira Toms on June 26, 1982.

He is survived by his loving wife, Angela Martin; one son, Diago Martin, Jr. both of Lynchburg; two daughters, Oriana Martin and Maleeya Martin, both of Amherst; three sisters, Martina Hill (Jeff), of Madison Heights, Darlene (Anthony) Gray, of Lynchburg and Shaffon Jones, of Amherst; mother-in-law, Margaret Ferrell; father-in-law, Marcus Ferrell, both of Alexandria; sisters-in-law, Cassie Dawson, of Amherst and Vanessa Freeman, of Charlotte, NC and a host of other family and friends.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Oak Hill Baptist Church with Rev Edward Henkicks, Officiating.  The internet will be in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 7-8:00 PM at Davis-Turner Funeral Service.  Service of comfort rendered by Davis-Turner Funeral Service.
